HAVACO ECH electric duct heaters
ECH is an electric duct heater without built-in automation. The heater's heating power can be controlled by an external HRK regulator. ECH heaters are adapted for installation in circular ducts. They are available in typical ventilation diameters from 100 to 500 mm and powers from 0.3 to 24.0 kW.
Each heater has a two-stage overheating protection:
- - I stage at 50°C - automatic reset.
- - II stage at 100°C - manual reset required.

Electrical duct heater ECH HAVACO
ECH is an electric duct heater without built-in automation. Regulation of the heater's heating power can be carried out via an external HRK regulator.
ECH heaters are adapted for installation in round ducts. They are available in typical ventilation diameters from 100 to 500 mm and powers from 0.3 to 24.0 kW. Each heater has two-stage overheating protection:
I stage at 50°C - automatic reset.
Stage II at 100°C - manual reset required.
Construction
The heater housing is made of steel sheet covered with high-quality Aluzinc coating, which guarantees high corrosion resistance. The connection stubs are made in negative tolerance and have an EPDM gasket. The heating elements are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The junction box has an IP44 degree of protection.
Use
Duct heaters are used to heat clean air in domestic ventilation systems, especially in autumn and winter, as well as in industrial installations requiring constant supply air temperature. ECH heaters also perform well as preheaters or secondary heaters, supplementing installations based on heat recovery air handling units.
Installation
Heaters can be mounted in any position, except with the junction box facing down. If there is a possibility of accidental contact with the heating elements, appropriate guards must be used. The speed of air flowing through the heater must not be less than 1.5 m/s. The flow of explosive or aggressive gases is prohibited. Heaters may only be used to heat clean air. The devices are intended for indoor installations.
Electrical connection
The electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable national and international regulations. The power source and power cord must be in accordance with the data on the heater nameplate. The circuit breaker must be selected according to the technical data. The heater must be grounded.
